Dirty Albatross is an exciting, edgy and disruptive new golf brand that offers an alternative option for the modern-day golfer.

The mission was to create something that would cut through the noise of the generic golfing brand. Something that was a little playful but was still taken seriously. The mascot had the role of symbolising disruptiveness and becoming a solid identifier for the brand.
We went through numerous concepts of an actual Albatross connecting with golf in some way and decided the concept of having the Albatross holding a golf ball in its beak was a solid direction to symbolise that edgy, not playing by the rules spirit.

The custom logotype was created to accompany the mascot and compliment the playful style. I included a reference to golf in the name too to create an interesting design and to connect the name to the industry it is playing in. This is shown with the tail of the 'y' acting as if a golf ball was bouncing onto the green.
